It's been a while since I posted any Tish-related news, so I though I would bring you up to date with some bits and pieces. Unfortunately, I can't give the names of any programmes she's auditioned for since she left Holby City, but I can give you some tantalizing teasers!

1. She auditioned for, but didn't get, a recurring role in a BBC One drama that's currently airing.

2. She turned down an audition for a long running ITV drama that isn't a soap.

3. She recently auditioned for the lead in a big new ITV drama and had three call-backs, but lost out at the final hurdle to a very well-known actress. Despite not getting the part, I think it's encouraging she can come so close and mark herself out as a real contender for high profile roles!

4. She's auditioned for a very popular American drama, but is yet to hear back on that.

5. She had a 'conversation' about possibly starring in a one-off drama for the BBC alongside two high-profile American actors, but the part had pretty much been cast already, so it's unlikely to happen unless there's an accident or something Razz

There's been other bits, but that's the significant stuff that comes to mind right now.

Finally, Tish *is* filming a small cameo (about as big as her Extras part) for a BBC comedy this month. Again, I can't tell you what it is because until the editing is done you can never be sure it will make the final cut, but fingers crossed it won't be long at all before Tish reappears on our screens.

Hmm... Not sure. I'll err on the side of caution for the moment, other than to say she's had a string of roles in recent years and is never far from the screen.

Im not even going to try and join in with this, i dont think id ever get it!!!

I really hope some work comes her way soon. I was just exploring some of the brookside clips and the clip of her on the radio where shes singing. Is there anything she cant do!! Seriously, im now not suprised Tina asked her to sing at her wedding. She has a beautiful voice. I enjoyed the brookside clips, it was the wardrobe that amused me most, having only really ever known her as Diane its certainly different!!! Im sure there must be things shes not good at but she is seriously talented. I would love to see her in something like strictly, or perhaps Fame Academy. Something like that, its all for charity and i reckon she would be really good. Shes never had a chance before because of her scedule at Holby i guess. Not sure if shed consider it though, not exactly another job like Holby.
